Responsible gambling
Responsible gambling on Roobet: how to set wager, loss and deposit limits, take a 24-hour time-out, self-exclude for anything from a day to permanently, close your account, and where to get free, confidential help.
What responsible gambling means
Gambling is paid entertainment. The house edge on every Roobet game, from Crash to live blackjack, means that over time players as a group lose more than they win. Responsible gambling is simply playing in a way that keeps it entertainment: money you can afford to lose, time you can spare, and the ability to stop.
Roobet is for adults only (18+, or older where local law says so). This page covers the controls Roobet itself offers and the outside help available if gambling is causing harm.
Simple rules that keep play in check
- Set a budget before you open the site, not after a loss. Treat it as spent the moment you deposit.
- Never chase losses. Raising bets to win back money is the most common route into trouble. Crash and Limbo make it tempting because a single high multiplier looks close.
- Keep gambling money separate from rent, bills and savings. Do not deposit with credit or borrowed money.
- Decide on a time limit and use a phone alarm. Fast originals run hundreds of rounds an hour.
- Treat rakeback and bonuses as a discount, not income. RooWards, the Vault calendar and raffles return a small share of what you wager; they never make losing play profitable.
- Do not gamble to fix a mood. Playing when stressed, low, angry or drunk leads to bigger, faster losses.
- Watch streams as entertainment. Sponsored Roobet streamers often play with funds or deals you do not have.
Setting gambling limits on Roobet
Roobet's Gambling Limits feature is on the safe-gambling page of your account. It lets you set three kinds of limit:
- Wager limit: caps the total you can bet in the chosen period.
- Loss limit: caps your net loss in the period, worked out as wins minus losses from the balance you had when the limit was set. If you are up, the limit does not count down until you lose those gains.
- Deposit limit: caps how much you can deposit in the period.
Each limit runs daily, weekly or monthly, starting from the moment you set it and repeating every 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. You can have up to three limits active at once, for example a daily wager limit and a monthly loss limit together. When you hit a limit, Roobet blocks further bets or deposits until the period resets.
Steps:
- Log in on any Roobet address.
- Open your account menu and go to the safe-gambling section, then Gambling Limits.
- Choose the type, the period and the amount, and save.
Set limits when you are calm and before you play, not in the middle of a session. Limits apply to your account, so they follow you to every Roobet mirror and device.
Taking a break: the 24-hour time-out
If you want to stop for a day, Roobet lets you add a 24-hour time-out yourself from the responsible-gaming page in account settings. During that period you cannot place wagers.
A time-out is also the first step of a longer self-exclusion: the self-exclusion option opens once the 24-hour cool-down has passed.
Self-exclusion on Roobet
Self-exclusion is for when a short break is not enough. Roobet runs it as a two-step process from the self-exclusion page in its safe-gambling section.
- A 24-hour cool-down starts first. You cannot wager during it, though Roobet says you can still log in to claim rewards already due.
- After 24 hours, you choose the exclusion length: 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, or permanently.
Roobet states that a self-exclusion is irreversible: it cannot be shortened, changed or lifted early by its team. When the period ends, the account reopens automatically.
Closing your account
To delete an account that has activity, email cs@roobet.com from the address on your account with the subject "Account Deletion". Roobet says it replies within 24 to 48 hours, places the account in a 48-hour cooldown, then emails again so you can confirm; you have 24 hours to reply. A brand-new account with no deposits or wagers can be closed directly from the privacy tab of account settings with "Close My Account".
Withdraw any balance you want to keep before you start either process.
Warning signs of problem gambling
Any one of these is a reason to pause and think. Several together are a reason to get help.
- You spend more money or time than you planned, often.
- You chase losses with bigger bets or extra deposits.
- You borrow, sell things or use bill money to gamble.
- You hide gambling from family or partners, or lie about how much you lose.
- You feel restless, irritable or anxious when you try to cut down.
- You gamble to escape problems, boredom or low mood.
- Rakeback, Vault claims or raffle tickets are the main reason you log in.
- Work, study, sleep or relationships suffer.
Free self-assessment questionnaires, such as the one Roobet links to at BeGambleAware, take a few minutes and are confidential.

If you are worried about someone else
Talk to them calmly at a time when they are not gambling, focus on what you have seen rather than labels, and avoid lending money to cover losses. Services such as Gam-Anon and Gambling Therapy support family and friends too. If the person shares a device with you, blocking software can help, but it works best with their agreement.

FAQ
How do I set a deposit limit on Roobet?
Log in, open the safe-gambling section of your account and choose Gambling Limits. Pick a deposit limit, choose daily, weekly or monthly, enter the amount and save. You can run up to three limits at once.
Can I self-exclude from Roobet?
Yes. Start from the self-exclusion page in the safe-gambling section. After a 24-hour cool-down you choose a length from 1 day up to 1 year, or permanently. Roobet says exclusions cannot be shortened or undone.
What is the difference between a time-out and self-exclusion on Roobet?
A time-out is a 24-hour break you set yourself. Self-exclusion is longer, from a day to permanent, and cannot be lifted early. On Roobet the 24-hour cool-down is also the first step of a self-exclusion.
Does self-exclusion apply to Roobet mirrors?
Yes. The exclusion is on your account, not on a domain, so every official Roobet address shows the same block. Creating a new account to get round it breaks Roobet's terms.
How do I delete my Roobet account?
Email cs@roobet.com from your account email with the subject Account Deletion. Roobet applies a 48-hour cooldown and then asks you to confirm. Accounts with no deposits or wagers can be closed from the privacy settings.
Does GAMSTOP cover Roobet?
No. GAMSTOP covers sites licensed in Great Britain, and Roobet is licensed in Curaçao and does not accept UK players. Use Roobet's own self-exclusion and device blocking software instead.
Where can I get free help with gambling?
Gambling Therapy offers free online support in many languages, and Gamblers Anonymous runs meetings worldwide. National helplines exist in many countries. All are confidential.
Can I block gambling sites on my phone?
Yes. Apps such as Gamban and BetBlocker block thousands of gambling sites, including mirrors, on phones and computers. Some carriers also offer gambling content filters.
